We are actively recruiting board members for the 2024-25 term! This round will close on May 15th.
You can join us for “Board Office Hours”, a casual chat to meet current board members and learn more about serving:
Tuesday, April 23rd, 5:30-6:30 (drop in at the Tool Library | add to calendar)
Friday, May 3rd, 12:00-1:00 (Zoom | add to calendar)
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are especially interested in connecting with neighbors in Greenmount West, Johnston Square, Oliver, and nearby neighborhoods.

The first board term is 1 year, with the option to re-apply for up to two more two-year terms (5 total years).
Invitations will be made by the current board and staff.
Who We Are
We are a fun-loving, creative, energetic group of 4 staff and about 100 volunteers and teachers with deeply-held values. We have more than 1,400 members and hundreds more learners and visitors each year. SNTL is committed to access, equity, and doing things the right way, not the easy way.
We envision a board that enjoys each other’s company, uses values-based consensus to make decisions, and is continuously learning from one another.
